Minimal progress in the last few days cause I've had the pox (head cold plus hayfever FTL).
Discovered the swaybar link was about to do what the silver T4 did with the sway bar mount. The bottom piece has worked its way sideways and is about to spit itself out.
Still a turd of a job to fix - had to take the very-difficult-to-reach bolt all the way out before I could slide the other bit back in. Then I had to get that damn bolt to start in the thread and do it back up.
Fixed/bodged the key. Yes, I could have bought a new key shell off eBay, but it needs to be 100% functional by next weekend.
Gotta use blue leccy tape for that's added touch of class... :)
New brake rotors and pads are in. Brakes are bled.
The race wheels (they're gonna be raced on: they're race wheels!) are fitted. No biggy, just one of those things that helps keep me motivated.
Need to do the LHF wheel bearing. I'll remove the upright & hub from the car this arvo, and then hope like buggery that the new bits turn up earlier rather than later. Worst case is that I pull an upright off the wreck and swap it, but I'd prefer to have the new parts fitted (plus it saves pulling no the wreck apart).
After that, there's only a few detail things to do, and it's pretty well done, I think.
