Known delivery routes

Based on my past experience with Bruce (a.k.a. Oz Volvo) Logistics, these are the areas regularly travelled by Bruces.

Delivery times vary on distance, but it is feasible to get a part from Hobart to Sydney in as little as a week or two, if the circumstances of other Bruces favour your needs.

As a couple of general statements:

I live just off the Hume Hwy, and have a fair bit of space. Within reason, I can store stuff until you can organise pickup.

Also, there are plenty of bike and rally people that I know travelling around the countryside with utes/vans/trailers. As a general rule, most people are happy to help out in exchange for some petrol money or grog.

Arranging to meet the transporter somewhere that suits them, is far better than expecting them to go out of their way to find you.

I also travel constantly throughout SE Qld.

I am on map as close to Tassie boat and can store some stuff till the other wheelman comes from North or West.

I travel regularly between Geelong and Melbourne (usually weekly), between Geelong and through South western Vic (Warrnambool, Colac, etc)
usually 3 or 4 times per year, I travel to Canberra.

I fly around a bit too but anyone would be at the whim of what could fit in hand luggage. If it fits in hand luggage, its probably practical to post.

I am in Adelaide, so if people need stuff from Adelaide, I might be able to help move it to Melbourne.

I can make requested run if people are prepared to pay the cost of fuel : P

I can and do pickups around Melbourne but rarely leave Melbourne. Angus is past Ballarat and helps out too.

You know my location. Once I get settled into a new work schedule I'm happy to run parts on my travels but I go nowhere routinely....just randomly.

I do Ballarat to Melbourne 6 to 8 times a year, and Ballarat to Geelong occasionally.

occasionally so can help with those runs.

I don't have a lot of space to store things, but there are some tidy older 240's up here.

I do know a local recovery guy who runs down to Sydney about once a month and will transport a car for $350ish

Next trips are SYD->MEL->SYD for first weekend in march and 3rd weekend in march

Then doing SYD->OOL->BNE->SYD for first week in april

i do tamworth > newcastle every couple of months or so

can go onto sydney if needed and drop stuff to Ed etc

i also have 100acres, which is enough for some storage if needed

will transport volvos for money (subject to negotiation)

Anyone here works at any of the major airports & have airside clearance?

I'm a pilot based in Melbourne and regularly fly to Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide & Hobart. Other cities I fly to less frequently include Cairns, Perth, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Mackay & Alice Springs. Trouble is I'm usually too busy during turnarounds to go into the terminal. If anyone here works at one of these airports & have airside clearance so they can come to my aircraft to deliver/receive parts, I'll be more than happy to help.

I won't be able to handle bulky items or dangerous goods - for example shock absorbers would be considered a dangerous good because of the compressed gas. If it's small & safe enough for the airlines to accept it as a carry-on baggage then I should be able to carry it with me on the flight.

I do Melbourne - Geelong, Geelong - Colac (VIC), Geelong - Warnambool semi regularly.
Add them in to the routes if that is of any use.
