anybruce interested in purchasing a mac mini from me? I'm at that weird stage where I need to upgrade multiple devices and instead of buying 3 new toys I'm just going to buy 1 big laptop.
The mac mini is a 1.83ghz, 2gb ddr2, 80gb, superdrive. It is cosmetically perfect without any flaws. I'm going to have to wipe it clean so it will need a fair bit of updating when you go to fire it up.
I was thinking this may be a good project piece for anyone looking for a small car-puter or media server for your living room.
Not sure what it's worth but I see them selling on gumtree for $300 for this exact model (with less ram) and $250 for the slower 1.69gz with 512mb.
Also, going to throw this out there if anyone is interested.....
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (unlocked from Tmobile, not rooted but could easily be). Currently running 4.3.2. This is the global phone so it'll work on carrier or frequency used. I'm currently running on Boost mobiles $40 unlimited plan w/ 3G (shows up as HSPA+ or 4G on the phone) and it's great. Any carrier that uses a micro sim card will fire right up.
I'll also include the $100 charging/hdmi dock that links to tv/monitor. I used it as a desktop computer on my 40" monitor. With the phones multi-tasking feature you can run two apps at the same time on split screen and on a tv it works very well. I've seen this phone for sell at Game Exchange for $550 unlocked and they dont come with the dock. Also, mine has the additional $45 flip cover door. Cosmetically it's been dinged on the upper corneri, (little scuff in the metal surround, no functional damage), the cover door has a soft fabric material that is soiled with use (hands,tables,etc). It may actually clean up but I haven't tried. The "sleep" button is a little soft. It still works just fine just requires a more direct press to put in sleep mode. I guess I'd just ask for a reasonable offer....

oh, also have a solid ASUS laptop for sale once I sell these items and have the cash to replace it. Solid workhorse..i just need something to replace my desktop and gaming pc...and this one just can't do any games. I can get specs for anyone seriously interested. I think it's a 2.2ghz 1.5gb, 250gb, windows8 (wiped clean)... 14" screen..... Thinking $250-ish??

lo, the mac mini's are going for between 200-325 on gumtree, I haven't looked at GT yet. I'm reasonable and open to offers.
If anyone is interested in the Galaxy Note 2 I'll have it ready to sell in a few weeks. Got a special deal on a new phone and it'll be shipped to the wife on 8th and then she'll package it up and ship it down to me here. Once I get everything migrated over It'll go on the auction block.
Also interested in trades if you have anything quirky you think I may like.
i'm also going to add another 1gb of ram to the asus laptop and put a copy of windows 7 back on it...should pep it right back up and get me by for a little while longer.
