Volvo 240 boss kit help!

Hey guys! I took off my steering wheel and pulled off the aftermarket (I think) hub, and this is what I found:

The part that attaches onto that long bit on the second photo is completely cracked. Can i replace it by buying a replacement Momo boss kit, or is that not actually part of the boss kit?

Would really appreciate any help!

I believe that the cracked part is the source of my horn sporadically sounding, I think it is grounding it out depending on where the cracked part or paintless parts touch

The cracked bit is the boss. Looks like it's been hugely over-tightened.
The crack down into the splines makes it Very Not OK.

I doubt it's the source of your horn problem.

Thanks Spac, this definitely means I need to get a new boss kit then. Once I put a new boss kit on then I will see if the horn still screws me over.
