240 clutch slave cylinder

Hi all i was driving to a mates house the other day and my slave cylinder for my clutch is dripping quite a bit and emptys out after about 10 mins of driving.. so just wondering if anyone has a spare one they would be willing to sell or could recommend somewhere that sells them for decent price.

I've just had the clutch hose to slave cylinder crap itself (should have replaced it when I put in the new MC and slave but it seemed fine at the time). Volvo part number is 1206840 I believe, is it worth contacting Mark at BMC as I'd like to get it ASAP (I heard he had been OS recently so not sure if he's back in the saddle) someone suggested getting a hose made up by Enzed but not sure I want to go down that road. I'm in Tas, it's a 1984 240 Estate, any suggestions gratefully received…

No worries, I'm going to hotfoot it out to Enzed and get one made up (hopefully today, but I'm not holding my breath), I need it back on the road this weekend if at all possible…

Re braded hoses, just had my brake lines replaced with braided hoses on my v70 by hoppers stoppers at hoppers crossing werribee vic. Out the door in just under 2 hrs with a complete fluid flush. Very reasonable cost of $640.00.

Happy to recommend them, nothing's a problem.

Thanks for the info, I'm in Southern Tas so not exactly spoilt for choice unfortunately, someone else local suggested ABS here in Hobart but I've found them to be very "average" in terms of workmanship and customer interactions…

Hi can you send them a sample or even details of fittings and length. They send stuff all over aus. They specialise in the unusual made their name in the modified vehicle field.

trevingle45_ Ahhh didn't realise they were Australia-wide in terms of shipping, I ended up getting ABS to make a hose up, they had to order the fittings in so fingers crossed they get it right…

if you are talking to hoppers stoppers ask about the old 360 rally car they had.

recommend their work and good guys in my experience.
