Blue slip is such a nightmare. It has passed inspection. The first time it failed due to leaking diff, so I resealed the housing with RTV which did the trick. Then I torqued the backplate bolts according to the greenbook which sheared one of the bolts off, so I just torqued everything to 20ft lbs and it seems fine, even with a bolt missing.

Then I went to get CTP, and I bought the policy but now I have to physically walk into an NRMA centre to pick up the document and walk it over to RMS to complete the process.

On top of that everything is in Chatswood, which is full of people trying to do Christmas shopping.

Then yesterday a friend went to give me a hug and in the process knocked my phone out oh my hand, smashing it. It was 2 months old and will cost nearly $300 to repair. I have just utterly had it with this week.

On the lighter side, I'm currently on hold with the warranty repairer for my old Xperia Z. They refused to quote the work I asked for, then refused to return the phone to me unless I paid $40.

So their system sends these automated e-mails saying your phone will be moved to archive in 30 days, then your phone will be recycled in 30 days.

The cutoff for recycling is tomorrow. What they seem to have failed to appreciate is about a half dozen e-mails to the service e-mail address listed on their website (one we've previously communicated via) attempting to progress the situation.

So they'd better hope they take the call soon I guess, or they'll dispose of the phone and I'll print the large amount of e-mail history and go to tribunal to recover losses.

More entertaining was that his was not encrypted and the SD card has naked pics of his (very hot) wife on it
I've made a few posts on /b/ looking for help finding the phone in HK but no luck so far

I'm at NRMA now. I have them my policy number and they printed out a green slip for some guy in Lane Cove, and there was a typo in the VIN! On the upside, they are good at customer service and are sorting it out now.

Lol... this is why I use allianz... they just PDF you the green slip and you then just print it and walk into the RTA without stuffing around

Did the parts arrive at yours yet?
That steering wheel , I always meant to buy a jar of like coloured boot polish for the scrapes on the leather. I know it is out there as I used to have a dead sexy pair of Italian motorcycle boots in that colour when I rode my Suzuki RG500 in blue/white colour scheme!
Put DOB of polish on scrape n gently heat with heat gun , do several times and effect a reasonable repair , slather rest with sorbolene to nourish , should look ace!

The different yellows looked a bit whack. I like the small front-plate better anyway. I'll get a bracket to mount it evenly on front bumper.

Eh I'm kind of unwilling to spend real money on number plates. I have been thinking about buying the original plate though, JID-159.
