Has anyone replaced a B5254T with a B5254T4? My vehicle is an October 1996 AWD 5 speed manual. I assume I will need to upgrade my engine management system. Will the T4 physically fit without having to re-plumb/re-position everything/anything major ? I'd appreciate any advice in relation to the swap - and need to source a good T4 if it's possible.

Also - Where can I get replacement remote and keys for a 10/96 build Volvo 850 AWD - do I just front a dealer or locksmith with the VIN ? Thanks, Tiny

Are you trying to swap for performance or because engine is dead?
Keys and remote == Ebay for that year as can be reprogrammed by yourself

Australian models have after market receiver units for the central locking.
Best bet is to get a uk/us ebay receiver unit and the associated fob.
