Which front Struts should I be getting?
Sachs Handal, KYB Kayaba, Monroe, or Volvo Genuine (at twice the price of the next cheapest).
This is my wife's car driven to the airport and back once a week and some "about town" driving.
I'm going non genuine for the rear wheel bearings as the genuine price is astronomical, no matter which way you look at it......

Give Masons a call at seaford 97863591 and mention me and will get a good price for you

My second hand V50 came with Bilstein B4 (OEM replacement) shocks at the front. Worth getting a price, as in my experience Bilstein are excellent.
Philia_Bear
Sachs or B4 (Touring) should not be more than $150aus each
Rear wheel bearings.... some of the aftermarket stuff is better than the OEM stuff whatever you can find is fine
Spac
Not Monroe. Not unless they're the last shocks on earth.

Well, I reckon I'll go with the Sachs then, whole parts list (2 x control arms complete, 2 x front struts, 2 x rear wheel bearings, waterpump kit, timing belt, tensioners etc.) from Scandix inc. shipping (EUR45) comes to less than AU$1000, so I think this job is on. And we'll be bringing it in to Deger (@VolvoDeger) Melbourne next month!

Did you Ask John or Mark at Voldat what he can do all that for? Last time i was there he was doing a V50 front end.

Masons will lend you a car as well while the work is getting done
