Just waiting for a mate.
I need another set of hands to bolt it up, but it's sitting in place.
Once it's fitted, I can run the wiring loom and the water drain and fit the roof lining properly.

Tailgate on and all good. Connected the wiring loom, but now the high mount brake light is permanently on,
My guess is that that pin arrangement for the wiring connector is different, so I'll remove the loom from the old tailgate and fit it to the new one.

Took a bit to spot the difference. But looks less plain.

This afternoon, I stripped the LS/LT loom out of the old tailgate and fitted it to the LV tailgate on the car.

End result -
* High mount brake light works (good. initial problem solved)
* Lock does not work (bad. new problem)
* Number plate lights do not work (bad. new problem)

So, I'll re-fit the LV loom into the tailgate tomorrow when there is some more natural light and then focus on the issue with the high mount brake light and see if I can trace that out a bit better.

Ash Probably the pins for the power boot lock & eye level brake light were swapped from Ls to Lv hence constant power to your brake light.
Your ABS light saga my Son's friends RS had the same problem after lines, rotors & pads I'm sure it was a poor connection or a wire routing issue. Lucky me the eldest Son's blue XR5 had a few hours in my garage, Brake fluid change, clutch bleed, ECU relocation along with air intake. Then the S60R manual box got an oil change along with a new torque bush. Looking forward to new cams arriving then back to the dyno.

I'll recheck and work it out. Ford, in their infinite wisdom, run black wires to everything so it's a little annoying.

I thought about the brake light having constant power when it shouldn't, however....

LV loom
* brake light is constantly 'on'
* boot lock works fine
* wiper works fine
* number plate light works fine

LT loom
* brake light works fine
* boot lock does not work
* did not check wiper
* number plate lights do not work (connectors are wrong for the LV tailgate - not yet prepared to cut up either loom)

I'll work on it some more as time permits this week. If I can, I'll refit the LV loom back in tonight.

While there is no rear interior trim in it, I'll swap to the LV taillights at the same time - will require only minor splicing of wiring.

With a little bit of luck, your cams will be here late this afternoon.
I'm far more excited about having a peek at them than I am about LT to LV wiring differences!

G'day, 1st post so excuse for no intro's.
I read over on C30 crew where guys were buying the revo knuckle set up & retro fitting it into their C30's. Sound s like a great idea when you start pushing some bigger numbers. Our current SAAB9-5 can be a bit tricky in the wet...

Welcome aboard @Snelens !
Revo-knuckle subframe and associated hardware are tough to come by and expensive (Most focus' you come across as wrecks have, funnily enough, had front impacts!).
I'll run the Heico coilovers upfront first and likely remove them down the track and re-look at the Revo-knuckle front end and maybe do a spring/strut/shock re-think at that point.
Running the RS subframe also means a wider front track too.

Tonight, I refitted the LV loom into the tailgate and double checked the upper brake light with the LT one - same issue, so at least I know the issue isnt in the connector or the light itself.

We'll look at it further on the weekend - it's back to assembling coilovers and packing parcels for me tonight.

Some claim 40 but the Volvo exhaust system is a bit more restrictive than the Focus.
