This is true.
You need to do a proper pressure test on them for the extended period as well.
Having to do a TIG weld on a possibly oily unit in a hard to get to spot isn't going to be fun and unless you can do the repair yourself will negate the cheap purchase price over the local product easily...
And if its a warranty job for one you have sold the cost of freight will definitely make it a useless cheap purchase!
