Feels like ground big day, but I just bought another manual T4. :)
Stupidly cheap, 220,000km, a fortnight's rego, blown head gasket, otherwise in beautiful condition.
It's a Phase 1.5, white, no sunroof, and a towbar - all of which is perfect IMHO.
The plan is to fit some nice wheels, maybe lower it slightly, delete the rear muffler, and use it as a nice daily.
After much head-scratching about the blown HG, I think I'm going to simply fit a B4204T3. It's about $200 for a VRS gasket kit, plus refacing the head, blah blah - buying a warranted used LPT motor with less kays isn't that much more money. Seems that the LPT 2.0 motor in place of a HPT 1.9 motor is all win, particularly in midrange grunt.
So far, I've polished it and taken it off the trailer...
