Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know that I sold the wagon a few weeks ago to a member of I Roll Volvo Group. I sold it because my priorities in life have changed and the need for something newer, more spacious and with cheaper and more plentiful parts out-justified the need to keep the 240. I really hope to get back into drifting and Volvos in the future when I earn a bit more money and have the time - unfortunately being short on either of those meant that I was compromising a lot in various ways.
In the nearly 3 years of ownership I've learnt a lot, wrenched a lot and met a whole deal of fantastic people, including a few of you guys. I'd like to thank all of you who helped me out in one way or another; it's been great to see the transformation of the car and look back on all the memories it's been a part of. I'm also glad I got the opportunity to actually drift Old Gutsy on the dry track at Sydney Motorsport Park shortly before I sold it - it proved my own theory that I wouldn't need a turbo or a high power build to slide. 80rwkw proved more than enough.
