There is a mechanic in Sydney diagnosing TPS failure as gearbox failure in the early x70's. He is an idiot and I bet his is another one if someone wants a good car that costs $50 to fix. Killing the early gearbox takes deliberate effort or driving it with no fluid or something cray cray.
