@Angus242164 Don't think so mate; due to the colour of it. Recently asked Holden to provide details of the first owner of the car, where it was sold, etc. but they couldn't help stating that all the records for that era were filed with a private company which doesn't exist anymore. They chose to outsource due to costs and storage space apparently.
@Jaz I hadn't heard of the Strata turbo kits before but i checked out this:

And that 80% increase from stock power is mad. Too bad they didn't seem to catch on.
Recently purchased some new super pro bushes for the panhard rod, trailing arms, torque rods and sway bar.
Got a couple of stickers from Dave Barton as well...
Also wanted to shorten the bumpers and bring them in closer to the body of the car. Pulled the mounts off the '75 and an '86 to see which would be easier to shorten... top is the '86, bottom is the '75 mount.
So I ended up shortening the original mounts; too easy.

Kept all the stock mounting points, including the two that connect the front guards to the bumper. In later models Volvo seemed to have a bar going from the chassis to the front of the guard but these early ones are just attached to the bumper.
The bolt goes through the bumper but that's just an example of where I cut the rubber.
Due to the new placement of the alloy bumper, the GT front spoiler/airdam was out of place and hanging about 5cm closer to the front wheel than the guards. I didn't want to chop up a decent spoiler so I pulled one off a wreck in the yard and test fit.
Pretty mint.
Painted the spoiler and some new lights arrived that morning so I made some brackets and mounted them as well.
I think I'll end up painting the LED light surrounds to try and hide them a little better behind the grill. The alloy splash guard also looks like it needs some black paint or something. Tomorrow I'll relay and fuse the lights and trigger them on highbeams.
