Hi All.
I'm posting this here on behalf of a friend (Vehicle located in Albury NSW but I could drive it to Melbourne).
This is basically a miniature 850R sedan with one less cylinder.
My mate bought it a few years ago off Mark to use as a daily driver and used it as such for roughly 18 months. During this time he did a few tasteless and ricer mods to it (all reversible); pod filter, 2.5" exhaust, 17" XXR wheels, BOV etc. And then some tasteful mods like a new radiator (from the UK at great expense) and abit of rust repair. He then bought a Citroen and that has superseded the 440 for daily duties.
I have driven it a bit. It is a fun little car and is pretty nimble in the twisty bits.
It runs well, drives well and is definitely not slow. Also feels pretty well planted at higher speed.
Majority of people in the UK who are looking to upgrade their 2.0 440s will swap in this 1.7T engine as it is stout and would probably love a few more psi. Having driven the 2.0 NA 440s it has abit less torque at low rpms but really comes into song after 2000rpm.
5sp Manual
196,000 ODO
Runs a tad rich (bbbbwwwwaaaahhhhhh...chooochooochoo...GGGGNnnnnnnnnnn....pop pop pop)
Would be nice to see it go to another Volvo person as it is one of the only ones around...surely somebody here needs a fun commuter or a hatchback?

PM me if you'd like it and I'm open to offers!
Cheers,
Sam
