SirNemesis Just had another look. No sign of coolant anywhere above that hose, right where I've got the arrow. The barbed hardline from #8 to #31 is dry, and theres nothing dripping from above that I can see. I'll see if I can get this hose out without taking all the skin off my hands...
SirNemesis Well, got the bastard off, and it does have a hole in it! Video too! New parts on the way, should be here Tuesday :D
Vee_Que Good work. Whay hoist did you go with and the height of the shed? I'm guessing its a tad taller than a normal one, but the posts on the hoist look too short for a 3m model.
egads (she/her) Wow, looks like a shit of a job, good work! Can really hear the relief in your voice. Where did you end up getting the replacement hose from?
SirNemesis I think it was around $3000 once delivered. Alegedly it needs Australian standards but I have no idea how considering the 4.8 tensile anchors and hoses that don't meet Australian standards.
SirNemesis All fixed! No more leaks and is running well. New windscreen going in on Monday and then off for RWC. Should pass without any other dramas :D
SirNemesis Car developed a boost leak yesterday. Down on power and sounds like an air compressor. Sadness :(

SirNemesis Yep burst hose from the turbo outlet to the intercooler pipe under the car. Part number #31274235. Apparently near US$150 too. Fun times.
SirNemesis New day, new fault. Driving today on the hwy and I got an engine service error. This disabled my cruise control and wouldn't let me re-enable it. After I stopped I stopped the engine, then started it again. This fixed the cruise control and the engine service error went away. I did a bit of a Google and found people talking about a brake pedal sensor. Thoughts?
