Hello All,
I have a 2008 C30 T5 originally supplied by Trivett Volvo in Sydney. It has a sticker on the window which reads "Computer Alarm by Trivett Systems"". There is no separate key fob , flashing light on dash or any buttons inside the car to indicate or control the alarm.
It appears to be linked to the remote key, door lock /unlock scenario.
It has an immobiliser , I know this as a locked myself inside on the first day of ownership and the message screen flashed up something about immobliser. All good for the past 5 years.no problems
Last weekend for the first time, I locked the car and walked away. Within seconds the lights flashed and the horn honked, I was
able to stop it by remote opening the doors.
I did not know it was capable if this !! I asked the service guy at Trivett when they serviced the car how the alarm worked and he dismissed the question as not a problem.
Does anyone know what brand may have been fitted or how it works??
