Misses at wot then hubts at idle in gear missing too , in N will clear mostly , no codes.
Like auto is playing up?

I have an elm thingo that won't give me anything out so far.....
Put in new fuel pump , will see how it goes when I can drive it .
It felt like fuel starving earlier today so pump time as old one noisy.
I hope....
Should get a comp tester , I am sure I had one before....must have gone missing in that one box last move.

Do you have a working copy of vol-FCR?
A comp test will confirm you are not chasing your tail.

Haven't ever got the volFCR , so far not needed.

If you are not getting any codes from the ELM, VOL-FCR is worth a try.
I would say putting into D loads the motor causing the miss.
Sounding more like a bunt valve.

It ran OK on part throttle.
The elm isn't talking properly to the phone on many differing obd apps , it sees it but nothing happens.

What dongle is it? Mine works fine with the S40.
But not with my 850 no codes at all even though it conects to the transmiision units.
Vol FCR gives you historic codes. PM me if you want more info.
This cable works with Vol-fcr.

Cheers Nick ,I have a couple of cables , will get fcr and dedicate an old Dell to it.
The elm came with car I get what seems to be rpm at idle on it when car switched off....fcr is the go...

Yeah , I posted up there at NO but deleted it. I smelled fuel real bad , car is full so thought cap or rubbers gone in filler so maybe causing it.
No , its my 70T pissing it out on the ground in the heat..... They are parked tail to tail...
Seems the fuel pump collar has been loosening off as I had smelled it on hot days before.
Full tank no help to change that seal so I mopped up the fuel on the pump holder and tightened the collar , seems to be OK but , still the T5 ....I will get volfcr going if I get a chance and see if I can figure it out.
