Volvo Dealers that can provide service history on my car?

years ago I bought a used 2008 BMW 335i, the local dealer had no problem providing me a print out of the full service history of the car (after checking it was ok with the previous owner)
I just called up Premier volvo in Perth & they were not helpfull at all - can anyone reccommend a more helpful dealer ?

thats who I tried, you would think they would want to try to build some relationship with a potential new customer considering the service book is full of their stamps.

I was hoping any dealer could/might give me a full printout of whats been done exactly - just as the BMW dealer was happy to do.

Pop in to Premiers. I've found the guys behind the desk to be super helpful. It helps to walk in with a kidneys worth of cash, but it costs nothing to have a chin-wag.
Also, super helpful if you need parts in a hurry. Again, for a significant price, but nothing I've needed in a hurry has take more than an overnight from the East.

I'm 1000 miles away from the nearest dealer for a few days, which is why i called them - the guy really just didnt want to help

i will try the other volvo dealer in Perth (Barbagello) & see if they have some decent customer service

Hahahahahahahahahahaha .. choke gasp.. hahahahahahahahaha. Barbagello? Customer Service? I'd rather crawl to Sydney over broken glass, buy a car from a dealer there and push it back to WA than ever deal with Barbagello again.

We bought the first diesel series 1 Disco from there and had it serviced there for its warranty period. Never again.

There are plenty of places to get good customer service over here, just not Barbagello. I'm sure there are happy customers, I've just never met one and after what they did to us on the land rover I'd never go near them again.

For Volvo, if you don't want to do the work yourself, for indy guys both Frank O'Grady and Dick Anza have a pretty good rep. I got Premiers to do the cam belt and valve adjustment on my second Volvo when I was 20 (a few years ago now and I grossly overpaid at the time), but I've done all my own service prior and since.

Both have their own shows. Frank is Frank O'Grady Autos and Dick is Perth Swedish Auto Centre.
I've not dealt with either of them for a few years now, but scuttlebutt around town is they are still as sharp as they have been. As with any advice or recommendation however, it's worth what you paid for it.
