volvo 240 turbo Wollongong

Up for sale is my 1988 Volvo 240 turbo. I converted it about 6 months back and have been driving it from Sydney down the Hume and back each day and fuel is getting a little bit cruddy to pay for.
Its got a 740 turbo on the stock motor with stock internals, intercooler and piping, exhaust thats honestly made up of about 17 different other exhausts keeps it sounding silent.
ezk117 ignition and 740 turbo ecu.
original 5 speed not overdrive.
brand new clutch when the other one lost its springs.
ipd rear sway bar installed after the Volvo meet thanks to oz Volvo couriers,
king spring lowered springs.
original Volvo alloys with really good pirelli tyres all round.
suede steering wheel.
interior is so so drivers seat dosent match but everything else is pretty alright.
it was at the oz volvo meet in Gerringong, really nothing pretty to look at but does go choo choo nicely. once I can figure out how to get pics from a samsung phone to a mac ill whack some up.
im chasing $2400 for it if possible ill even throw in a new set of Volvo brake pads. its got 6 months rego as of today .
im going to be in Dubbo till sunday so if i dont reply asap it will all get sorted out on sunday, its not advertised elsewhere figured id let someone on here have a crack that would actually enjoy it for what its worth.

I also got a question about it being engineered, i was under the understanding it didnt need to be i went to the rms I spoke to Shannons and i even phoned an engineer and from my limited understanding its all legit, if someone else wants to chime in that would be awesomely appreciated. but as is its selling "un engineered"

Basically the small power increase over NA and that it came here in tiny numbers in turbo and overseas commonly makes it tick the boxes in the eyes of engineers I have talked to and sounds like your experience was similar.

yep the nothing more than 20% deal, or the fact it was offered as a manufacture option im not sure but none has seemed to care.

So how's cooling without the fan shroud?

Well its been fineIi have the old shroud I just never cut it down to fit. its never overheated or gotten close, it got warm in a maccas drive through once did the old trick of interior heater I think I was just paranoid but.

Definitely. I didnt have one on my 240 at all and run a thermo-fan for nearly all of its life while I had it.
I didnt even run a big fan either.
