Been buying a bit from FCP euro and they make a pretty fair effort to keep prices down for Aussie clients, I email back and forth between FCP and share info about the exchange rates, Changes in taxes proposed and their freight carriers and the result has been that they are now by far the cheapest for international freight and yes their prices have come down although marginally.
Their international client desk does make an effort and their policy to keep shit products off the shelves is both refreshing and pays off (No Uro parts for instance).
I still check and compare between FCP, IPD, eEuroparts, Autohaus, Pelican and even Rock Auto (Great source but not so international friendly) as I buy parts for Volvo, Mercedes, BMW, Chrysler etc and even with a sometimes 40% exhange rate gap I find FCP and eEuroparts to be the better of them for price and FCP has many genuine parts that cant be had through the others (Recently got a genuine muffler for a mates performance Benz which was hard to find and nearly 60% cheaper)
But as Les said shopping local also works out better sometimes although not so web friendly.
