Just gave that Superpro a call - they don't keep them any more.

@Cj1992 have you had any luck finding some? If not, and you want to do a group buy, please let me know - I want to put an order in to Rock Auto before Xmas since I need 3 sets for my 3 heads.
If you wanted to start a group buy, your welcome to put me down for a set
Sorry i have been flat out with work the last few days so havent had a chance to get back on I havent had any luck myself, ill have to put my search on hold until after christmas ill get that out of the way then i shall organise a group buy if people can hold out until then otherwise you's can go ahead and ill keep searching down the track ive got an american V8 engine shop near my work so i might drop in during the week and see what they might have and keep you all posted.
Why not just get them from overseas? No real need for a group buy?
Group buys help on postage costs. Especially with the crappy Aussie $.

You're putting a 16V together? I'd be ordering the Sealed Power VS1632 springs, not those Crow Cams beehive ones, which (at a guess) will also need nonstandard retainers on a B234 head. <p>

Rock Auto seems to be the store that has the best price for the VS1632. eBay has them slightly cheaper. But with Rock Auto, at least you know you're getting a Sealed Power spec spring and not a weaker lookalike. They may even do a better price for a larger quantity.
Yeah those crows, were a bit of a BAHAHAGA. Look at the price.

Yeah I have a complete 16v i got not long ago, will be pulling my car off the road soon to do that and a few other bits.

Then I can focus on my turbo bike :D

Of note, the VS1632 springs are not a "beehive" spring, they are as straight as can be. They do have a progressive winding to them, and that will reduce the reciprocating mass of the spring IF the tightly would part is mounted near the head.
The Ford 4.6/VS1632 springs do offer more seat pressure, but that's about it. I'm not sure why these are viewed as "THE upgraded spangs mang!"... as the stockers actually are a stiffer spring.

Used 16v springs:
Spring Rate (installed to block): 250lbs/in
Open Height: 43.6mm/1.715in
Installed Height: 37mm/1.456in & 22.7Kgs/50lbs
Coil Bind: 24.4mm/0.960in & 79.5Kgs/175lbs

Sealed Power VS-1632 "Ford 4.6" springs
Spring Rate (installed to block): 220lbs/in
Open Height: 52.6mm/2.070in
Installed Height: 37mm/1.456in & 31.8Kgs/70lbs
Coil Bind: 24.4mm/0.960in & 79.5Kgs/175lbs
The "good" springs are 12% less.... :( Let's see i there's an alternative.

The numbers on these Toohey springs suggest they're stiffer than the VS1632 across the range and they bind 1.4mm lower, allowing a wee bit more lift.

Installed Height length & pressure via culberro:

Used B234 16v springs: = 37mm/1.456in & 22.7Kgs/50lbs, Coil Bind: 24.4mm/0.960in & 79.5Kgs/175lbs
Sealed Power VS-1632 = 37mm/1.456in & 31.8Kgs/70lbs, Coil Bind: 24.4mm/0.960in & 79.5Kgs/175lbs
and these -
SP008 - 32 springs = 37mm/1.456in & 37.2Kgs /82lbs.

The spring rate of the Toohey spring is 330lbs/in, and coil bind is 0.870in (22.098 mm).

Nothing like bringing a 4 year old thread back from the dead.

Did you end up getting the Toohey springs? Fitment?

I'm pondering my options at the moment. Valve train is one of the last things to figure out with my engine build.
