Volvo 240 turbo

After trying to fit a new bike for wife's xmas present in the boot and a unsuccessfully fit an xmas tree through the sunroof and2 weeks camping planned with 3 kids I. January I have come to the conclusion that I need a bigger car :(
Does anyone have a decent wagon they would like swap or px for my 240 ?
1983 gle $10000 spent in last 6 months on manual conversion with rebuilt overdrive
Turbo engine with rebuilt turbo new hose kit
New Dvs/king springs
25 mm ipd sway bars
Dvs strut brace
New stereo and speakers
Remote central locking
Flat hood conversion
Immaculate interior with sunroof
Cold aircon.
Everything works ( now )
All work done at berry motor group and voldat
Oh and new clutch

I do have roof racks , will include these , even with racks and a pod , and camper trailer still a squeeze !

@morgan I have a 245 wagon (M47 as well) and it is a very handy thing. Pity for you to have to let that one go.

Yep I should have done all the work to a wagon , oh well start again . But it was in such good condition the heart ruled the head as always !

Morgan, just buy a cheap wagon, and get the good bits swapped in from the sedan? You've paid thousands that you simply won't get back mate.

Looking to get half what I have put into it , looking for around $8000 , but ideal situation would be swapping for a perfect wagon
Also the problem with naming a price is everyone has an opinion saying it's not worth that etc !

But why would it need to be engineered if it's registered with that engine and sold with a rwc ?

This sounds like the perfect car for you Donny assuming you know a place that does blue slips well enough that turning up with an interstate rwc and then actually explaining the car will work. It is legal, just not every inspector will be comfortable/agree.
