Vee_Que;75056 wroteWhat are your exact plans? I would recomend the T5 box for a turbo b230, no real need for the stronger box on a non turbo car. A bellhousing isn't too much, and the rest of the conversion is not too intensive.
Turbo/V8 drift pig of course, what else can I do with the car! Maybe a nice daily driver if that doesn't go to plan :p
All I know is that it needs to be a manual, and I've heard a lot about the inherent weaknesses of the volvo manual boxes, hence why my interest in a T5. I'd like to slowly upgrade the engine (forced induction) so having a T5 in the long run is definitely more desirable.
