Five days!? You would think in a place like TAS with everyone so spread out, they'd do a bit better than that - same day diagnosis at least! Either that or business must be great down there, to be actively pushing customers towards another brand.
Vee_Que would probably know the answer to this... aren't a lot of these code reading devices cross-compatible - wouldn't another mechanic have one that can read the code/s?
Volvo Vida is coming up about $130 AUD on ebay. www.aliexpress.com. seems to have the same thing a bit cheaper. (Just be sure you have the right item, pick someone with some stars and good feedback, and have several previous sales of that item.)
