Been there, done that with the ultimatums. My 440 and my manual 240 went in the process and were replaced with a Corolla. Then she did the dirty on me anyway. Only $6800 left to go on the loan that covered all the bills and crap when we split.

So these days, I don't bother with getting involved with anyone else, and rather just do my own thing and not have to worry about what others want or think. Less work and emotional problems that way.

Sad to hear that you have to let go of your treasures. They will find good homes, but at least try and keep one to enjoy. Otherwise you will go nuts trying to get back what you had before. Been there done that a few times now.

I'd agree with this. Keep the fav, put it on the back burner for a while. Buy appliance-mobile and enjoy breathing space from old volvos when required.
