Hi all,

I'm after a fair few bits for my 1982 244 and was hoping to find some here. When I have the chance I will hopefully be posting a discussion about the car.

-5 bar oil pressure gauge, sender
-Ambient temp gauge sender
-Tan door pockets
-LH front door chrome 'bump' trim
-Volvo branded mudflaps - Thanks familyman
-Sway bar kit - Open to suggestions with regards to size

I know I can get some of these parts through IPD/FCP but the shipping rates are pretty horrific so I'm trying my luck to get some local second hand parts first.

I'm located in Canberra, most things should be able to be posted fairly easily aside from the sway bars and door pockets.

Thanks!
Door pockets post well, if you use the correct box. I cut down a drive shaft box for a Ford Territory and posted one to WA without issue
I have a door trim strip, let me know if you can't find a closer one.
I could use some tan door pockets too if anyone has more than one set! I'm in Canberra as well.

@Biggles - I have a feeling I may actually have some rear mudflaps, for an 85. Wagon though, would they be different to your sedan? But I wouldn't be able to get them out for a couple of weeks probably.

As for the senders - I've been looking for some too, and I found that the website partdeal.com seemed to be reasonable. The part number for the oil sender is 360 009, and the outside temp sender is 323 087.
I've got an outside temp gauge, but no sender...
Maybe door pockets but I wouldn't bet on it...will need to look.
    @Angus242164 - Thanks, will do.

@240 - I've had someone PM me regarding some unused mud flaps, so I'll probably go with them however I'll let you know if it falls through. Thanks for the info on the senders, how does the conversion for them work? The oil pressure is listed as 80PSI and the ambient temp as 120F, are they still compatible with metric gauges? The converted values are different.

@carnut1100 - Thanks, do let me know if you find some, it's a pain trying to juggle a drink without a passenger, it's only a matter of time until I spill one everywhere!
In terms of the sender for the oil pressure gauge - I don't think the 5 bar gauge is actually any sort of metric measurement (although I could be wrong), more of just a way of showing increments. This picture should explain it.

With the outside temp gauge - yes I believe it will still work. Everything I have read says that it's the correct sender, anyway.
