I am selling my ARD ECU for LPT , its for s/v70 , not sure on your year 850 , Rob is expert at that stuff!
When you mention GLT I see you are reading USA specific forums. Not much of what they say applies to Aussie cars as ours are quite different in power , trim and emissions stuff plus , most of them wouldn't know anyway.....

You get great bottom end off that 13g , a 16t a bit more up top.

You need to ask what pwr the different turbos will make.
You can boost the LPT motor just fine but best with a tune as the extra compression ratio it has over the hpt motor means good fuelling is critical.
Beware that in making it "stage 0 " it means cooling system and possibly cat converter as well , or gut it....

And as for the cat,you said gut it....do you mean take all the ceramics out of it?
