Small update, went and fitted the poly engine mount kit I got a while back, forgot to take photos naturally. All went in fairly smoothly, however once installed I noticed there seemed to be a fair amount of strain on the poly mounts, so of course I ignored the little alarm bells in my head and took it for a test drive and promptly split both mounts in half!

I have spoken to the supplier and he has promised to send me some replacement poly mounts, he has told me that I may have the incorrect engine brackets, apparently early 740 and late 740/940 engine brackets differ slightly, so I'm now on the hunt for the correct engine brackets also.
I have decided that whilst I am waiting for the mounts to arrive ("overnight" parts from the UK) I may aswell fit the water pump, timing belt and "K" cam I have collecting dust.
Since driving it on the wet skid pan at Queensland raceway I have discovered it is a bit understeery and the cracks in the coolant reservoir weren't just cosmetic resulting in high temperatures. Have since gotten my hands on a good condition coolant reservoir courtesy of
@K3FSAR which will hopefully solve the high running temperature along with new hoses, coolant change and water pump.
I'm hoping a wheel alignment will solve the understeer issue.
