My son has damaged the door of our gold wagon. Anyone have one lying around? I am in Sydney but happy to drive to pick up the right one.

Do you have the paint code for the car? I have a parts car in a sort of champagne gold colour, but they had a few similar gold colours around that time. I'm also nowhere near you, but if it turns out to be correct it might be possible to "Bruce courier" it to you.

I think I remember that the only light gold colour on 240s at that time was the same as mine, paint code 400: beige/gold metallic. Sexier than it sounds :D There was a darker gold on 340/360 and other models.

My good fellow I have a door in Sydney that is available. It's a metallic blue though, so you would need to repaint it. I can supply it to you totally stripped if you like, that way you could take it straight to a paint shop.

and FYI - Supercheap do Volvo paint codes, so can make you up a tin of 400 for $30!

VG AUTO in Girraween will colour match for you. Just bring in the fuel door for them to scan.

I just checked the parts car and the paint code is different unfortunately, a shame because the door is in great condition.

There is/was a 400 code sedan being wrecked on VCV website. Not sure of it's still there - I emailed the seller last night but haven't heard back yet:

I will have a look as I know we have a gold boot lid rh front gaurd and bonnet need to see if doors are there
