My 2007 C30 R-Design

Greetings all.

I've been floating around on facebook, and thought I'd take the plunge and join up here.

I'm the proud owner of a 2007 C30 R Design, which I purchased around 2 years ago.

It's mostly stock - at the moment I've upgraded from the stock 17" to 18" factory Midirs; added Koni FSD shocks; EBC slotted/dimpled rotors and Brembo front pads.

I'm looking at exhaust options at the moment - I love the sound of the Milltek catback, but it's pushing $1400-1500. Ferrita/Simons/customs are around the 1200 mark - so it might be worth just saving up and getting the Milltek.

I'm also considering a tune - if I snag this promotion at work, then I might have to treat myself

I second that I've got the same exhaust on my c30 and its sounds great!

I've had a look at the Elevate stuff in the past and they have a pretty good reputation on a lot of products. The downside is the drop in the Aussie dollar - so 850 us plus postage is getting close to Milltek through Ash at DVS.

Yeah that's the thing I got all of my stuff when the Aussie dollar was on par with the U.S. So it was a really good deal but at the moment it's not even worth thinking about buying from USA or England

As it happens I had GLT at Capalaba install the system on Wednesday. Pretty happy with it so far but haven't had the chance to open the car up on a freeway yet
