IanBaker1954 I thought I'd post in this thread as this isn't about ABS really.
EFI = engine
IMM = Immobiliser
CCM = Climate Control Module (which I think is referring to the interior panel with the AC control buttons)
ECC = Electronic Climate Control
It sounds like your car is mostly unhappy about the state of the climate control system. It might be worth clearing all the existing codes and checking for new ones after testing the ABS.
The EFI codes are:
- 122 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor; intermittent fault, faulty signal
- 216 - Heated oxygen sensor; intermittent fault, faulty signal
- 325 - memory loss - this indicates that the computer has lost power since the last time codes were erased (most likely from disconnecting the battery)
The ECC codes are:
- 212 - Damper motor position sensor temperature. Open circuit or short circuit to supply voltage.
- 222 - Damper motor position sensor air distribution. Open circuit or short circuit to supply voltage.
- 322 - Damper motor air distribution. Open circuit or active too long.
- 412 - Blower motor. Short circuit to ground.
- 431 - Blower fan switch. Open circuit.
- 433 - Blower fan motor. Overcurrent or blocked.
It sounds like you need to:
- Check your cabin air intake for debris that might be interfering with the blower. Your 1997 model probably didn't have a cabin air filter in it, but it will have the access flap for it anyway, which might be full of debris.
- Replace your O2 sensor (the front one, I think, if there's two)
- Replace your intake air temp sensor
PS even though Volvo didn't install cabin air filters from the factory, you can add one, it slots right into the access hatch, which I think is above the passenger footwell.
