Hi Guys:
So I got a 2013 Xc90 D5. I got a donor tow bar and harness from a 2012 xc90. I got it installed today, the trailer module that i got is 30664652, and the wiring harness is the OE harness. Everything plugged in no issues, put the new fuses on the REM no issues.
Problem, it appears that to make it all work I need to have a software update to my car. I called the dealership and they were ready to tell me that it might take all day and big $$ (typical response 🙁 ) . Anyone can recommend a good indy workshop that has VIDA subscription? Online it says that in order for the TRM to work the car needs a software update.
