Hey guys, in need of a factory 2004 s60r shock absorber. Something that's not an overly ridiculous price.
2004 S60R front shock absorber
$1000ish for the front pair if your willing to buy both at once (OEM part = monroe )
$800ish for a single OEM Volvo unit
Because its the 4C system and because the aus $ has dropped to near enough $0.70, nothing will be a reasonable price

You can convert from 4C to Koni FSD's or Bilstein B6's to save a bit of money if you find yourself in sport or advanced most often, especially if you have a manual. You keep the 4C system happy by cutting up the current shocks.
B6 are considerably cheaper as well
I buy them from Tasca.com. $300 ish US plus shipping, $1440 here in Australia each

Go with this and get the ones you pull out rebuilt by a motorbike or motorsports place for similar money to new ones.Ocean_Racer;56385 wroteYou can have my 2 old front shocks.

Hey @egads are these the electronically controlled ones for the s60r?
Pretty sure @ocean_racer has a v70r so they should be.
Okay sure, but can you check that they're the four-c shocks because it would suck if you sent them over and I have to send them back because they're not the right ones.
