Seat belt webbing

Hi guys,
I have 2 belt webbings with small nicks with a bit fraying, approx 3-4mm. Looking to TMR information regarding Roadworthy Inspection it notes “no fraying”. Is it indeed the case the car won’t pass? Also, do you know of a service that replaces webbing?

Try, and if it fails, it can be re-made.

Run a cigarette lighter over the fraying, that will help tidy it up.

You can buy complete replacement retractor units from auto upholsterers and change over the ends and any plastic stops. The new retractors have a removable wedge to hold the webbing instead of being sewn on like the originals.
