I purchased the car unregistered with a damaged passenger door in 2021. Going by the service remin
der sticker, it had been sitting in a garage for at least 2 or more years. I contacted the garage named on the sticker where the car had been serviced and they gave me a good run down on the last 2-3 years of services and repairs. Replaced the water pump, timing belt, new front brake rotors and pads, services etc,
It had 123,864kms when I purchased it. I had to fit a new power steering reservior, and a boot for a drive shaft, replace the passenger door and replaced a light globe for rego. I also had some codes cleared, installed new turbo valve, wiper blades and it was on the road. Currently has 154,300kms.

I have owned many 140, 240, 740, 940, 940 turbo models, but this is a different car, comfortable, quiet, and performance.
Before I had the car registered, I changed the oil and filter, fitted a new air cleaner, did a full flush of the transmission, changed the bevel gear oil and the rear diff, changed the coolant, fitted new spark plugs. WE used the car to commute between Sydney and Singleton, not wanting to have a breakdown on the highway, I have replaced the in tank fuel pump and filter. Ito have changed the oil and filter every 5000kms during the 4 years we have owned the car, have photos to as evidence.
I am 75 and know the benefit of preventative maintenance, eg changed the fuel filter even though It was still working fine. It did not have a tow bar so I have fitted one for taking the trailer to the waste depot, pick up timber etc. Replaced the radio with the Vovo 2004 XC70 great sound.
Currently has XC90 17” mags with good tyres. 225x65x17 very slightly over size, speedo is reading 1% slow. Will be supplied with the original wheels with good tyres. Great for long trips and better fuel Consumption.
Comes with Volvo floor mats, Volvo boot mat, cargo blind, optional factory wood rim steering wheel, rego to 15/10/2026. Have some spare trim, etc.
Very happy with the performance, Air conditioning needs attention.
