Good day. Hope someone can help me to throw some light on my concerns about the growling noise coming from the car when breaking and releasing the brake halfway. I have purchased a preowned XC60 BR 6 Design 2022 yr with 28k mileage in the clock. I have went back to the dealer service mecahnic and spoken to volvo on the phone, they saidit is normal. The car was just service April 2025, rear brake pads is still 6mm and front pads are still 9mm and they said it still within the required thickness. I assume this noise is because of brake pads and rotors.Your advice wil be much appreciated.
