The last one I did, I made up a sheet of plywood and painted it black, then mounted it to the back of the X-brace that separates the boot from the rear seats.

An older setup that worked really well was I made a sub enclosure that matched the angle of the seat back, then mounted the amp to the back of the enclosure. This was particularly nice because if I needed max boot space, the whole unit could be removed in only a minute or two.
