Baweesh I’ve disassembled an AW71 and I’m wondering if I don’t replace the upper valve body gasket that’s peeling and cracked, will it have catastrophic reprocussions?
GreenGL Remove any bits that are about to drop off, leave the rest as is. (I think yours can be left as is) I saw similar deterioration when I had the valve body out of my AW70, refitted it after I completed other repairs and the car has been fine since.

Gauro I’ve also refitted without the gasket as it crumbled when I had the valve body out and it’s been running fine for 3+ months so far
