Where to buy forged engine parts from?

I'm looking to build my b230ft over the time I have no license, anyone know of anywhere that sells forged parts for the b230ft? I know of RSI and places overseas but is there any in Australia?

I bought some h-beam rods and forged pistons from Josh at Yoshifab in the US. He sells longer 158mm rods from china (like everyone seems to) but the pistons are made to spec at Arias in California.

@camT have a chat to Alex, he wi give you the run down on the rods you need. There are 2-3 different design h beam and a handful of lengths for redblocks.

That's the issue. Soooo many lengths. So many actual h beam design. And they vary even from the same seller.

Not worth doing it that way, unless I plan to buy 10 but need multiple sorts.

Maybe when the dollar was at parity the cost of custom pistons were 700, now they are more like 1000 landed.

I recall paying 1300 for my JE's but I optioned extra things such are window milling, coatings, oiling holes etc.

The stock forged mahle pistons are fine, just upgrade the rods.

has anyone thought of contacting weisco. i do know they have replacement pistons for the b230 how ever they may not have stock here in aus. alternatively is there any other engines with our spec?

@CamT we can certainly supply decent forged rods and pistons for your build.
We've never going to be as cheap as anything coming out of china, but that may be an apples & oranges comparison.

We can also supply, valves, valvesprings and a range of camshafts - one of which Im sure will suit your requirements.

already has a 2t cam in his 940.
cam should do a valve order and we can piggy back on shipping for my valves as well.
