940 Denso 100A alternator - Wollongong

Desperately required. Is anybody rebuilding these in Sydney?

You cannot rebuild the denso type

I have tried and failed on every attempt - there are no decent voltage regulators available and I gave up after hours of time and effort lost

I have a new replacement Bosch copy for sale if you’re interested, I use it on all of my 940’s and no complaints

Thanks, it is for a 240 but a have an e fan and need the 100 amps. How many amps is the Bosch copy? Is that the OEX?

I don’t know whether it will adapt to a 240 mounting bracket, you may need to modify it to fit

Then there’s the issue of the tensioner adjuster

Ground wire etc

You might be able to find one destined for a 240, but with more than 100A output, maybe 120 or 140
