Volvo XC90 T8 | Error code : P008A

Hi Folks,

I'm getting the following OBDII code on my XC90 T8: P008A ($07E8)– Low Pressure Fuel System Pressure Too Low.

From what I can tell, there's no external fuel filter on the T8 — it’s likely inside the fuel tank. I'm suspecting either the fuel pump or the fuel pressure sensor might be the issue.

Has anyone experienced this before or have any ideas on what might be causing it?

The car is currently in limp mode. Sometimes it starts, but struggles to accelerate and shuts off almost immediately.
