Rory I'm not opposed to shipping stuff! I'll see what's available locally then if I need anything else I'll let you know!

I have some of that in VIC…hit me up if you can't get things locally. Happy to ship as well.

            Jaz
No pics as yet, been a busier day than I'd expected.
            Got the door pinch molds
            Got the 4 scuff things
Have to see if I have 2 good 74+ window winder handles, I presume you want black ones.

Jaz Winders, the 2 I have are chrome

              Uh oh....

Do they look like this..... (these are up to 73 model)
              Image description

.... or like this? (these are 74 and 74+ model)

                Major Ledfoot a

The top ones are the one I have apparently, the car seems to be a bit of a mis match anyway, so not concerned about purity, as long as they work!

Jaz That suggests it's a 73 model and not a 74. The early handles attach completely differently to the 74+ handles, which use a screw.

The 73 handles have a clip which holds them onto the window winder spindle stub. To remove them, you slide the big huge plastic/bakelite washer to disengage the clip. I have the handles and the big washers, but I don't have any spare clips or the other metal washers which sit underneath, or the springs.

From the parts diagram - Drawing 15149 from the 164 parts manual (same as 140 here) Group 8, Page 34, pdf page 482.

                  Image description

                  I have [42] / [43] / [44] / [45] / [46] as complete handles, and the big plastic washers [47].

You will need to get these from somewhere else -

                  • (clip) spring [48] 687299-8
                  • (metal) washer [49] 676215-7
                  • spring [50] 659949 -2

Can confirm that mine appears to be the early ones? I haven't found any bags with the rest of the window winder gear in it so assume I'll need that too.

Rear doors look like this, so Im missing the inner arm rests too

Jaz Oh! You've got the green car that used to live up Devonport way....

That's a 73. Confirmed by the fact you have front quarter vent windows.

I remember when that car was for sale about 8 years ago on Gumtree, @bigal apparently knew the seller and may have looked at it. This was just before I bought my 73 144 as I was looking for one. I was after a blue 73 with a blue interior, and noted this one had custom door cards.... But as usual, I digress.

I should have a spare pair of rear door arm rests in the shed, together with the long self-tappers that attach the handles to the doors, and the little plugs that go over the top of the screw holes.

@carnut222 might be able to help you out with [48], [49], and [50] from the earlier post.

Major Ledfoot Yeah I definitely have door window winder parts from all those 164s I wrecked, so hit me up @Jaz if you can't find them locally. Happy to give them away for the cost of postage in a bag (about $15)

                          @Jaz - this is what I have:

                          • A set of pinch mold (no pic)

                          • One set of scuff plastics
                            Image description

                          • One pair of 164E 73 model window winders - good news: I have spring clips, metal washers, and silver (not black) outer plastic washers, and 1 only [50] spring - they will polish up nicely.

                          Image description
                          Image description

                          • I have found one rear door grab handle and I'm sure there's another in the shed somewhere (no pic)

Does $50 for the lot picked up seem fair?
