Okay, folks - what brand of oil cooler sandwich plates are you using on your engines?
Is yours the type which sends the oil out to a heat exchanger, or ones that have a coolant connection to the water pump and radiator and don't need a heat exchanger?
I'm looking to attach one to an oil cooler arm on a B230. I'm also looking to use one on a B20. My preference is for the type which uses a separate heat exchanger.
The Wahler ones which Mother Volvo used as OE are known to have internal thermostat failures, and most of them are now 30+ years old, so I'm looking to fit something good, brand new, and easily available.
What are your recommendations?
