Finally got a replacement for the accident damaged rear control blade/hub on the donor car from @iceton1975.
Fitted superpro bushes while I was at it.
Mechanically the AWD swap is complete.
Haven't had a phone to take many photos but everything basically bolted in. Basic rundown is :
I kept the fwd front subframe and steering rack, the elevate downpipe cleared with no mods. Mid section of exhaust was modified to suit AWD fuel tank, and to clear the AWD subframe. It seems the American guys aren't so lucky with the left hand drive swaps usually requiring the AWD front subframe and/or modified downpipe.
Modified the AWD rear shock mounts to suit the larger i.d of my adjustable rear shocks
Modified the lower shock mount width to fit the AWD subframe mount
Fitted an in tank deatchworks 340lph dw300m, which required me to add a lift pump from the passenger side of the fuel tank (similar to v70r setup), as the stock pump has 2 pickup points from the base of pump and all the hi flow aftermarket only have one.
I have wired up the haldex from the donor car, with power from pin38 of large brown CEM connector, earthed at drivers side pillar, can bus wiring to grey fuel module connector under back seat. I haven't tried it out yet but will probably drive the car over the weekend and see if it has remotely functional AWD but I am on the hunt for a V8 XC90 haldex.
