Tom and Wim at Margate Mechanical and Machinery were both Volvo techs back in the day, and know 240s pretty well. Not sure how much they want to play with 240s these days, but we used to chat heaps about them back when I was in the industry a few years ago.
Would be worth having a chat to them if you have no luck with the other suggestions (all of which I know personally, and are highly skilled and trustworthy workshops btw…)
