Tigabu I'll just leave these here... 1978 264 Auto - was Adam's (gue555) but has now found a new home with me. Needs some TLC but is in excellent knick for it's age and (suspected) km of 179,989. The Speedo has farnargled, so not sure, but body and rubbers are excellent, with a typical areas of rust, plus minor issues.... PRV manual flywheel is on the to acquire list.
Tigabu Big thanks to Tristan, Fletch and Adam for helping retrieve the Auld Dart, called The Lady Syrah ;)
carnut1100 Was owned a few years ago by the manager of the New Norfolk Woolworths servo....I've got a pic or two I will scan and send...
240Joe I saw this in Launceston on Friday with furniture strapped to the roof and it looked fantastic! The guy driving it saw me having a good perv and gave me a wave. Was it you driving it?
Tigabu Ex850R;5481 wroteVery nice !! I like a lot!! Is that what you wanted the 960 donk for? Sure was, but if I can get hold of a PRV manual flywheel (rareasrockinghorsemanure) then I'd put a 5 speed behind it... There are some other alternatives on the go too :-$
240Joe That's exactly what I saw, I think I was too busy talking in the view of your car to wave back so :-h
A_Volvo_Driver Let us all know how the 960 motor goes into a 200 series. When I run out of jobs to do, making my car go quicker will be an eventual job. At the moment, it looks (despite the shitty paint) a lot quicker than it goes :)
Tigabu Wilco, Scott. Still working on the 142s at thé moment, so it will be thé daily until thé funds are switched from that and thé Vic Wagon.
Vee_Que Nice. I still have my prv manual parts but good luck getting me to pay with them while I still own one. I have a b280 I can do the head gaskets on and sell to you though? From my new 760 With wiring. The 4 speed autos do the job well too. Keep the servicing up and it will keep running well too. Looks amazing on the inside and the colour is awesome!
