Hi all. Just jumped on this forum because I need help.

MY11 XC90 3.2L.

I thought my alternator was dead.

Local AutoElec agreed. Didnt want to do job. Got him to order me the alternator. $640.

Took old Alternator out today and found that the Alternator clutch gear (PN 30750136)  bolt was loose. however the clutch gear is damaged.

Now trying to find where I can get a reasonably priced replacement ASAP.

I've found 1 on ebay for around $288 but won't be delivered til April.

Would anyone know where I can Get one.

That's a fairly common issue, you will probably also need to replace the alternator clutch/overrun pulley if the new alternator didn't come with it (most don't) you could try mark iceton at Monash prestige in Vic.

      Any Volvo dealer will be able to order one. Check the air con belt and clutch on that side too.

      So, after hours of research. I discovered, that the volvo 3.2l SI6 is basically the same as the LR Freelander 2 3.2L SI6.

      So Volvo PN 30750136 is same as LR Freelander PN LR001981.
