Hi, I am selling my 1971 Volvo 142 located in Canberra, ACT.
Car has is a white automatic with a 2L B20A engine. I have had it for just over a year and got some work done on it but unfortunately due to some personal circumstances has sat in my basement for that time. Selling as I am moving away and won't have the space. It is in overall good condition and has had a new radiator and fan clutch, fanbelt, spark plugs and carburetor diaphragm, repaired ignition wiring, and a recent new battery. Although I just went to start it up and there is no ignition.., not sure what is happening there but once running the engine goes well. It is currently not registered, but was passed as roadworthy at the mechanics about a year ago. Straight body, good seats, no rust except a little bit just under the windscreen. If you can sort out the few little niggles with the ignition it could be done up into a nice example of a 142.
