A/C issues

Ok brains trust, after extensive, expensive and comprehensive A/C blower pump, resistor, filters etc, repairs.

On my way home the a/c went from lovely and cold to uncomfortable hot, so I turned it off immediately...I started the A/C later and it worked as it should, any ideas?

All issues I had with my MCC were with the circuit board ... bad solder joints on the relay which gets the 12v to the system

This is a common symptom of a worn a/c clutch ( heats up and air gap is too large) but has a workshop been throwing the parts cannon at it? Was this the original symptoms?

Parts Cannon yes……this is something that was also mentioned as a possible cause.

Thanks for the reply, replacing a worn out A/C clutch, is this a difficult and expensive process?

Sometimes it's just a matter of removing the pulley and removing some shims, which sounds easy but can involve making up a puller tool . There's some "ghetto" fixes online with zipties/breadclips taking up the slack. I would probably check the clearance first with a feeler gauge.
